Senior QA Lead-Storage I am looking for a QA Lead based in the Seattle area for my client who is in the final stages of completing a high speed solid state caching appliance. In this role you will be leading a team of test engineers, responsible for the configuration, test planning, functional testing, application testing, and documentation of a high performance SAN storage product. Additionally you will be working closely with the Storage Systems lead architect, PM and outsource partners to launch & ship current generation products, as well as help develop new storage products. You should possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or CPE or related field and have 5 years of storage systems configuration, test, and application tuning experience. Additional qualifications include: • Strong scripting skills • Linux and Windows programming environment experience • In-depth knowledge of storage systems and concepts, storage interfaces, firmware and storage drivers • Strong results orientation, technical problem solving, written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently • Experience with databases and test software • Experience covering all aspects of hardware/software installation and configuration of storage systems in a Windows or Linux environment • In-depth understanding of Windows or Linux operating system- advanced configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting. • Strong performance benchmark, problem diagnostics and troubleshooting skill in hardware and software on multiple platforms
