Senior Applications Developer JC6393 MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Senior Applications Developer JC6393 with a minimum of 5+ years SQL Server 2000 or higher experience. Must have a solid understanding of complex normalized relational databases. Must also have experience with applications in delivering complex data to users. Understanding of website usability and interface design principles required. Developing and clarifying user and system requirements also required. Experience in automated graphing, mapping tools and Microsoft Report Services and an understanding of economic data and coding systems highly desired. You will play a lead role in application development and assist in data modeling and design of an internal application containing "Quarterly Census of Employment and Wage" data, a quarterly dataset of number of companies, employment and wages by detailed industry for counties and state. You will assist in development of a web-based "county dashboard" and a public website containing access to key information for economic and workforce development professionals and policy makers.
