Business Objects Report Developer KE6343 MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Business Objects Report Developer KE6343 with a minimum of 5+ years Business Objects or Crystal Reports experience. Minimum of 5 years work experience as a developer desired, preferably in the wireless industry. Must have solid technical command of the Business Objects suite of tools including (but not limited to) Web Intelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Designer, Crystal, Dashboard, Performance Management, and the Central Management Console. Must also have had development experience on at least 4 projects with total project team size greater than 3 team members and acted as lead developer on at least one project impacting multiple business units. Ability to create complex reports using Webi or Deski or Crystal (create variables, merge data providers, link result sets, formatting) and complex Universes (context vs. aliases, create hierarchies) required. User, group and some server administration using Central Management Console along with extensive experience with troubleshooting and user support also required. Experience mentoring other members of technical/development staff. Experience with data warehousing and SQL writing experience preferred. You will work as an IT consultant for business groups to help them understand how Business Objects can be used as a solution to meet a reporting need. Function in partnership with the business to be able to interpret business need into technical deliverables and vice versa. You will largely need to work independently on moderately complex projects and provide some mentoring and guidance to team members. Excellent communication and problem solving skills, including ability to interface with the business. BS Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
