Systems Engineer KE6326 MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Systems Engineer KE6326 with a minimum of 5+ years requirements analysis and design experience of integrated network management systems. Minimum of 3+ years experience in the administration or management of Layer 2/3 IP devices and fault management systems. Must have moderate experience in HP OV NNM, HP OVO. Must also have knowledge of integrated service and network management systems in telecommunications. Knowledge of standard GSM/UMTS, GPRS, IP/ATM and signaling network technologies essential. Knowledge in the development and support of fault management platforms (i.e. HP OV NNM, HP OVO, NetExpert etc.) required. Knowledge of software development lifecycle and standard software requirement processes also required. Moderate experience in HP OV NNM,HP OVO and advanced IP experience and systems knowledge with CCNA, CCNP certification preferred. You will work with network element vendors to gather requirements from internal groups within the engineering and operations organizations. Work with the development and operations teams to ensure the integrity of fault management designs and implementation of fault management system features. Create technical documents such as Feature Requirements Document (FRD), Device Model Specifications, Alarm Template Specifications and interface specifications. Proactively work to identify and resolve issues related to fault management. BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering equivalent.
