Software Test Engineer KE6270 MERIDIAN Technology Group is seeking a Software Test Engineer KE6270 with 5+ years overall test experience, including at least 3 years in front-end (UI) testing. 2+ years of test automation experience in C#, Java/Junit, WinRunner, LoadRunner, Ruby/Watir or other automation tools. Must have experience writing/debugging automated tests, analyzing and reporting comprehensive results. Must also have proven expertise in testing complex features and experience with test methodologies. Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to read and understand data models and relational databases required. Proven ability to understand and translate functional requirements/specifications into working test plan and test cases as required. Some experience with back-end testing and troubleshooting test environments. Experience testing international e-commerce or travel websites and fluency in one or more European languages a plus. Project lead experience or experience implementing strong quality improvements preferred. You will own and drive test planning, schedule, test case development. Execute both automated and manual tests, report metrics and bugs, carry out functional and regression testing, driving hot fixes to the live site and more. Strong contribution in requirements gathering, specification reviews and development design in the early stages of the project. Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships across globally distributed teams and vendor partners. Support and troubleshoot the test environments and liaise with various teams. Keep up to date with significant new developments in relevant technology, standards and the travel industry. Mentor junior members of the team. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Flexibility to make occasional international travel.
