Project Manager Job Title: Project Manager Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 3 Months Responsibilities: -Managing a complex project or multiple small projects concurrently. -Using the full complement of project management and professional management tools and techniques as well as technical concepts to effectively plan a project, solve complex problems, and manage projects in creative and effective ways. -Leading and motivating teams/individuals; organize and review the work of assigned staff. -Assuming project management duties for projects started by others and in a variety of stages in the project life-cycle. -Managing system-wide operating system and application implementations and upgrades. -Defining a detailed project scope and controlling scope as a means of achieving overall project objectives. -Preparing detailed project schedules and utilizing as the primary work plan. Essentials: • Project management techniques and principles. -Principles of team leadership. -Operations, services and activities of information systems. - Principles and practices of project budget preparation and administration. -Operational characteristics of a variety of computer and network systems, applications, hardware, software and peripheral equipment. - Principles, practices, methods and techniques used in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of systems and applications. -Methods and techniques of statistical and financial analysis. - Principles of business letter writing and report preparation. Highly Desired: -PMI certificate. -Public Agency Project Management experience. -Applying advanced principles and practices of technical area of expertise. -Applying strong interpersonal techniques and demonstrating a - consistent commitment and ability to work with diverse work groups and individuals. -Demonstrating a positive customer service orientation with both internal and external clients
