Position Description:
Supervise the smooth flow of in and outgoing good through the warehouse and supporting the daily operations.

Key Outcomes and Responsibilities
• Maintain ongoing inventory for warehouse and outside stores.
• Coordinate with Assistant Production Manager the shipment of priced merchandise to Lynnwood and Everett, ready for shipment.
• Oversee the load and unload of store trucks.
• Oversee the flow of freight elevator.
• Fill-in whenever needed as a forklift driver.
• Supervise the opening and closing of the warehouse, locking outside gate of warehouse and ensuring the warehouse is secured.
• Mark and stock merchandise in proper category, and route merchandise to designated areas of warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain a good working relationship with other Production employees.
• Process performance appraisals for all reporting personnel.
• Provide back up for Material handling department
• Maintain attendance information on all reporting personnel and work with the appropriate counselor to address attendance issues.
• Provide trainees with appropriate supervision and direction.
• Provide monthly feedback to trainees about their performance.
• Model good attendance and work behaviors for good staff and trainees.
• Maintain an inventory of new goods supplies received and its distribution to all stores.
• Internal/external customer service skills are essential for all job functions.
• Other duties as assigned.


Essential Qualifications and Competencies:
• Working knowledge of material handling and being familiar with lifting and handling techniques.
• Ability to communicate well verbally.


Education and Experience
H.S./GED required.

• Minimum six months experience in supervisory role.

Essential Job Functions
Must be able to: lift, and carry for short distances, up to 35-100 lbs. Must be able to stand on concrete floor for up to 8 hours/day. Must have well-developed fine motor control and the ability to grasp, handle, finger and manipulate small and large items. Must have full range of body motion with the ability to reach above head, stoop, bend, and squat. Must be able to: perform repetitive fine motor functions with fingers, wrists and arms, without pain or loss of function. Able to travel across a wide variety of surfaces including, but not limited to, ramps, stairs, and uneven terrain. Able to use a standard telephone and wireless audio communication system; sit or stand for moderately long periods of time, communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of people, including those with limited English skills. Able to drive a forklift. Must be able to maintain reliable attendance.

Terms of Employment
This is a full time non-exempt position. Criminal background check and drug test will be conducted on prospective employees. Annual salary: DOE. Seattle Goodwill offers comprehensive employee benefits.
