IT Applications Manager KE7092 MERIDIAN Technology Group seeks an IT Applications Manager KE7092 with a minimum of 6+ years related experience. Must have experience with software development and design and relational database concepts. Must also have experience with enterprise wide systems architecture design and change and release management. System requirements gathering and system documentation practices experience required. Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, PowerBuilder, Sun Solaris UNIX, .NET and BizTalk and experience with Oracle version 10.x or higher and web technologies desired. Experience with health insurance, Medicare and/or healthcare systems and ITIL certification or other industry standard IT framework also desired. You will responsible for the general management and support of applications suite. You will ensure the reliability of existing systems and processes. Provide day-to-day staff direction and management. Allocate development resources in accordance with company priorities. Negotiate with requesting departments to resolve priority conflicts. Provide constructive feedback and regular staff reviews in a timely manner. Provide mentorship and career development to all staff members. Plan and support staff training needs. Oversee job scheduling and deployment for production and test environments. Serve as primary technical contact with external entities (clients, vendors, etc.). Provide back-up support for staff when appropriate and support for all audit and compliance activity. Excellent organizational, problem solving and communication skills both verbal and written with ability to work in a team-oriented, dynamic environment. BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education/experience required.
