Merchandiser Strategic Merchandising Partners (SMP), a national field marketing company, is seeking individuals for a long term position as a Field Merchandising Representative. As a Field Representative, your task will be to maximize sales of our clients’ products by visiting assigned stores on a specific schedule, and ensure all their products are represented on the sales floor in proper quantities. Additional responsibilities include setting product to plan-o-grams, point-of-purchase placement, small inventory counts, and moving product from stock room to sales floor. Requirements: • Proof of Auto Insurance under your name • Prior experience working in a retail setting and/or for a merchandising company. • Experience communicating with store management and associates, and building positive relationships. • Digital Camera • Reliable daily transportation to travel within assigned territory. • 24 hour / 7 day a week access to internet and email. • Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel (ability to open attachments and manipulate). • Success in meeting deadlines. • Strong communication skills; Ability to communicate and interact in a positive manner with store associates and management to foster positive store level partnership Please apply directly to www.smp-inc.com , click on careers
